Our Story

     Backwoods Bliss is a small town, family & locally owned and operated online boutique in Southwest Iowa. You can also find some of our products located in our brick & mortar family store, Vogel & Thomas Mercantile located on Main Street Corning, Iowa.  Our focus is to provide our customers with products that you can't find just anywhere!

     We offer all things that are Uniquely Rural, and it is our goal to share some of our traditions, our simple lifestyle, our faith, & our love for our family & our country!  All of our items are handmade/created and/or designed by us, a family member of ours, or from small business owners/entrepreneurs located throughout the USA. We discover some of the items we offer at boutiques, farmers' markets and shows.
